Maths At Home - Online Tutoring
Hi,
Here is a bit of information about me.
I have a degree in Microbiology from Imperial College, London, and a PGCE from Cambridge University to teach chemistry. When my children were at secondary school I took a course at Chichester University to retrain to teach maths.
I have taught maths at comprehensive schools for five years and I am now busy teaching online classes. Presently I have students from around the UK and from international schools abroad.
I am also a member of The Tutors' Association. To join this organisation your qualifications are checked, and you have to supply references and have yearly updated DBS checks. (The latter is a police check that all UK school teachers must have.)
I really enjoy teaching online, whether it is individual lessons or small group lessons. I like to be encouraging and build confidence, and I have had lots of kind comments from parents.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Jane

I also coordinate with a group of very well qualified tutors who specialise in all maths levels from GCSE to A-level and STEP exams. I am happy to put you in touch with the correct tutor for your child's maths level.

Many thanks to Julia M Cameron, Anna Shvets and Ketut Subiyanto for the lovely photos of students that we have used on the home page of this website. See www.pexels.com for more of their wonderful pictures.
